One of th questions Muir asked me was how many game I had seen. Unlike StanFan88, I had watched only three games this year. He said hat if I hadn't seen many games, I wouldn't se how close we were. Perhaps that's true. The games I saw did not make me want to return. And that's what I'm not sure Muir understands. If the product on the floor is not entertaining, people will take their entertainment dollars elsewhere.

He asked me a similar question.  My answer was "I've seen enough games this year and over the previous four years to know that Coach Dawkins is not capable of bringing Stanford basketball back to where it needs to be."  I had already told him that I had either given away my tickets to the rest of the home games or donated them back to Stanford.  "Even if it's a sunk cost, it's no longer worth my time to go watch this team play."

Now I'm pondering whether to sink another $2K for next year.
