He's not the only one to think those things [i.e., that Folkl was the best WBB player AND that Tara was a little ... irrational, perhaps ... about how she utilized Kristin]. In 97-98, Kristin had the team's best shooting percentage, was the team's leading rebounder per game, had the highest points per game average, and played in 18 games following the end of volleyball season. And, oh yeah, Tara started her in exactly ZERO of those games.
Kristin was also one of the only [if not the only] women players I can recall who actually shot a "true" jump shot -- that is, exploding with the legs to get elevation and then using the arms to make the shot -- as opposed to the combined arm/leg push that is generally used by women players. She did not shoot a lot of 3's, but she had a number of games, as I recall, where she was 7-7 or 7-8 or the like from the floor.
