I would prefer to see the University President, Athletic Director, and Head Coach share liability for the university’s actual damages and attorney fees.  Not only would it incentivize coaches not to go rogue, it would incentivize administration to actually monitor the behavior of their coaches.  Coaches like Kelly, Calipari, Carroll, etc. are scum but only get away with it because their administration looks the other way.
