Harris Barton probably could have gotten into Stanford and if he did, probably would have attended.  Very smart guy, as evidenced by his post-football playing career. 

Ed McCaffrey and Harris Barton won a Super Bowl on the 1994 Niners team, McCaffrey's only year with the team.  They probably became fast friends.
