Maybe the issue of fairness to athletes is less widespread or controversial on other Pac12 boards because:
At USC they run non-starters off before treating them fairly becomes an issue.
At Oregon everybody's too high to care.
At UDub they're only allowed to get maudlin and tell stories from the Don James era.
At Washington State the only issue is getting athletes to visit their moon base in the first place.
At Oregon St. the cow raping and tipping...(maybe in the reverse order) dominates their attention.
At K.al you're only allowed to have a sports related opinion if you bought a stadium seat license worth > $500k .
At Stanford we are too busy stacking our gold coins and collapsing world markets with a simple gesture of our pinky fingers.
At UCLA they're busy trying to discover how USC gets away with it and how they can duplicate SC's success.
At Arizona they're all still hiding under their beds and whispering in their cell phones: " Are you sure that mad man Stoops is really gone?
At Arizona State they're more focused on women in cutoff jeans and bare midriffs.
At Utah they worry only about breaking the BYU Polynesian Lineman Cartel
At Colorado sports scholarships are redeemable coupons dropped from aircraft like propaganda leaflets, and they still can't get athletes that can beat anybody at anything...except Stanford in bball.
