Harbaugh mostly generated head scratches when Stanford hired him away from San Diego.

I don't recall any head scratching by me or my Stanford friends.  Just fist-pumping.  Not that any of us expected or predicted his success.  More along the lines of anybody with a pulse would have been better than his predecessor.
