It is the nature of the final four that the buzz is biggest for the semi-final games.  That's when the fans of all four teams are pumped up.  Two sets of fans either don't show up for or are deflated during the championship game.  I can remember watching UConn-Louisville, with a depleted group of Stanford fans.  Even some of the ones who showed up left early.
