I want Nelson mainly because any time you can poke ND in the eye, you've got to savor it.  Also, it might get OT Piersbacher rethinking about his commitment to Iowa, too.    I think Chryst  will be ours, too, sometime but would be glad he came and sooner works for me.

I think Shaw on a boat won't affect the Nelson commit one way or the other.  He's a very bright, grounded kid and his final three are 2/3 defensible.  If he opts for ND I'll hate it, but it's not something lame like he deciding to go to the local college because his girlfriend will be going there, too.  And, I guess, the cosmopolitan/international flavor of Stanford kind of anesthetizes us to the genuine appeal of place and home and playing for the glory of (wherever).
