Shaw is pretty good on TV.  He would probably be a great in the studio or as a color analyst.  I am, of course, suggesting this under only the following circumstances: Shaw wins a couple national titles at Stanford and decides he's ready for the next challenge and takes an NFL job.  Wins a couple Lombardis.  He decides he needs a break.  One of his disciples is continuing Stanford's winning tradition.  So he bides his time on CBS.  Whoever's coaching Stanford at the time gets an NFL job.  And Shaw comes back to Stanford as his retirement job.
