I remember an interview where Mason said thing similar to what Shaw says, he just loves it at Stanford. Loves the environment, loves the kids, loves where the program is. I can't say I blame him, jumping ship would be good for his career, but those opportunities will still be there later. I wouldn't be shocked if he stays for a year or two more (though I would be surprised).
