I'm with twgin. I think some of Shaw's perceived stubbornness is a call to action for the OL to execute their blocks properly even when the defense knows what's happening. That's some attention to detail right there, and I'm okay with that. The game was never in serious danger of being lost, and Shaw used as many opportunities as he could to teach his kids.
The season is a campaign, and Shaw has to always be thinking about strategy, not just tactics.
