Thanks VG for the expert analysis as usual. ASU seemed faster, tougher, and more disruptive than us. When they were on the attack they really moved. We turned over the ball too often on passes and first touches. We also did not put our good chances on frame. The Maddie Bauer injury may have been decisive; we were giving the attackers too much space, and there was at times some hesitation about who was going to guard who. At the game I wondered why Jane Campbell did not make any effort to block the shot that scored, but on the video I can see she had no chance to touch it and she knew it. Ratcliffe is going to have to figure out how to utilize Chi's talents; she is an incredible player and playmaker but has not been having the impact on games that she should.
