It was live commentary during the 1977 Sun Bowl.  Thanks for the reminder, though.  Thirty five years ago when I watched that game I think I might have known that about Burt Reynolds, but had completely forgotten.  Still, his commentary sounds a whole lot more like it is coming from a celebrity actor and not the FSU football star.
