Regardless, of course it's unlikely. Everyone knows that 1-loss teams don't jump AQ conference undefeated teams, regardless of the circumstances. I think that if there's only one undefeated team then we'll be touted as most deserving based on resume.

That was me--the distance between the "body of work" arguments and reality over the years has been staggering.  It would be nice to see the ESPN BCS "specialists" quoting their own network's research in this case.
