Sagarin's new model is idiotic.
His website gives the following description for the theory behind it.
"In PURE_ELO, only winning and losing matters; the score margin is of no consequence, which makes it very good at retro-fitting the W-L result."
If that is true, how does he explain tOSU being ranked outside of the top10? Or Bethune-Cook being ranked 4th with a crushing loss to FSU while Clemson who has significant wins under their belt who also lost to FSU is no where in the top10 as well? Of course, he isn't sharing all the logic involved but the results are highly questionable. Shenanigans, I say!
