UCLA beating Oregon would not really improve Stanford's chances of winning the Pac-12 North since Stanford really MUST beat Oregon.
UCLA beating Oregon would likely reduce the chances for 2 Pac-12 BCS teams, and would put UCLA in the preferred second choice slot.
I won't cry if UCLA beats Oregon, but a UCLA win would not be very helpful for Stanford (or even the Pac-12).
If UCLA does lose to Oregon (twice), a 10-2 Stanford team would be picked over UCLA 10-3. No doubt about that at all. It is possible that UCLA (with the Pac-12 CG loss in the last weekend) would not even be eligible for BCS consideration while 10-2 Stanford would sit around #5-#8 in the standings.
