There is simply no room to run the ball with so many bodies piled up. It's an ill-conceived play with tight line splits. Stanford has run it far too many times with poor results for that play to ever be run again.
Yeah. If you are going to run that play every time, do the exact opposite of the ogre. Spread the defense.Â
The off tackle ogre plays seem to have a far better per carry average, and they make sense since you have big guys off tackle.
