Interestingly, Duke's RPI dropped from 14 to 17 (without a loss) at
 http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-...etball_rpi
but Kentucky stayed the same at 9 (with a loss).
I still don't trust RPI much at all. The NCAA's simplistic ranking is quite suspect. Maybe if they gave a score and an error measurement. (eg, Stanford is 100 +/- 5). But when I see 4 decimal places at http://www.rpiratings.com/womrate.php (which is different than NCAA), I find it disturbing. But maybe that's because I don't really have a good intuition of what the errors are. I believe your score can go down if you soundly beat a weak team.
http://www.rpiratings.com/womensrpi.php is supposed to be the same ratings as used by the NCAA, but with numerical scores to 4 digits.
