I do not think it makes sense to change QBs. I also think the coaches are in by far the best position to understand his progress, how hard he is working, etc versus the bench. We have a lot to play for still and it would seem to send an odd message to the seniors that we are playing for the future (and I still think Hogan is the future). Can we dismiss that until Shaw says someone else is getting first team reps, please?Â
On a related note, our use of WRs is completely baffling to me. It's almost like (besides Montgomery) they are used as random lottery numbers; I don't know how Hogan remembers their names, let alone their tendencies or timing. Pro teams don't even carry as many WRs as we rotate through games.
