I think it would have been a rotation where we played one of the LA schools, both the LA schools, and none of the LA schools. If this was a year where we didn't play USC, we would be going to the Rose Bowl. Should Stanford return to it's statistical norm, playing both LA schools would mean not going to a bowl game in more years than they did in the Pac 10.
