I'm just glad I don't root for one of the 100+ schools out there that wish they could be "merely good" like us...

But that's just the point. Five years ago, a good year was being merely good -- bowl eligible. Now, we "bow to no program." An elite team plays in a BCS bowl. The past three years, we were elite. Our dreams were bigger. If next year is a 3-4 loss year, will that result in regressing to what we'd been accustomed to?

I think the consensus seems to be that much of that will depend on whether the coaching staff can coach up the top level talent we have and whether it can make in-game decisions that put us in a position to win.
