Most Calfans have no more knowledge of /emotional reaction to Roy Riegels than they would if you brought up Teddy Roosevelt  or Buster Keaton.

They show The Play every year at Big Game.  That's what keeps it alive.  The problem with Wrong Way Roy is that they never replay it because Kal is never in the Rose Bowl.

Garvin makes the best point about The Play.  It's cursed them.  Until they vacate that "official" win voluntarily, they will never sniff the Rose Bowl.
