I don't know... I think SC sucking up the oxygen is a good thing for us. Yes, we may lose one or two guys to them but, by and large, our recruits are a different breed and will come to Stanford as long as we remain a good program regardless of how good SC is.

They've been weakened by the sanctions and an idiot coach.  Under better leadership without sanctions, it seems to me that $C would be our 2nd toughest competitor for recruits after the Hunchbacks or maybe even tougher.  Then it's the Crimson Turd, and then University of/State University.

I'm hoping Saban stays in Tuscalossa.  Having him in a much more attractive locale (Austin) with a MUCH deeper pool of home state talent (and one that we dip into) would make him an even more lethal force and a problem for us.

Glad that Mora's staying in UCLA so he can split recruits with Sark.
