Those football players who flunked out or dropped by the academic wayside are just victims of the opposite: Kal's too-draconian grade deflation. It's a wonder how anyone graduates over there. Even if you get good grades, there are the snipers in the tower just picking off scholars at random every damned day. But at least they're not coddled, like at some places we know...so there's that.
