Well, damn--thanks. Great guys on this board.
No question that some intelligent people inclined to haste--guys like me, for example--will come up with 160, at least initially. But I also asked this question of an accountant friend of merely above average intelligence and my metal artist friend from Bulgaria, and both arrived at 200 quickly and easily, seeing the obvious sequence and not getting lulled into the 6,8,10,12,14--ergo 16 times 100 trap.Â
I am sure a couple of you at least flirt with the top 0.1 percent of the population--the Mensa within Mensa--but the 99.9 percent number must be bogus. Perhaps it was intended to make the solvers feel smart.
