I think back to 2006, where Wlat was closing in on the end of that 1-11 season. Reporters asked him what his plans were to rectify the situation. His reply: "We're going to have to recruit our way out of this." The first thing that popped into my mind was, "Yeah, right. Who's going to want to sign with you? You've won one game, and rumors are you've lost the players.*" The solution was obvious - Wlat had to go.
C.al, on the other hand, just signed Dykes to a five year deal. He's not going anywhere. I don't envy their problems at all.
