I know the losing has negative effects on recruiting, but other teams have recovered from that (including us). To be honest, it seems that kal should have some recruiting advantages - they are a far-above-average school academically, and the East Bay can be a fun place to be (diversity, very eclectic, lots to do, close to The City). I just wonder if they are going after the kids to whom those things would be appealing. And I think they have to have the right coach to leverage those advantages and know the right sort of kid to get. It makes me more thankful for Harbs that he did that, whether he fully realized it or not.
