No, IBS's first steps' problem looks even worse on his football film. His first four or five steps are just not running back-quick; they may not even be tight end-quick.
No one that he raced could match him for holding his top end. It's a form of strength but not one of explosiveness, which is what you want most, and I'm not sure how the strength might translate into a football asset. I'd love to hear what the coaches think, of course, and Sanford will tell us in less than two months.
