What's wrong is that it takes away from the exquisite enjoyment of watching a well thrown ball finding it's target, one of the nicest things to watch in all of sports.
I must admit that I have associated some of his erratic throws with that weird arm motion of his, but then he will prove me wrong and throw a perfectly timed and fairly tight spiralled ball with the same approach.
I suppose there is a legitimate question as to whether you can actually achieve the same flight/speed/consistency/etc with that alternative motion, and if that can hurt his NFL prospects (if so, perhaps Stanford owes him some investment on that?), but I'm plenty convinced it is more than enough to do what it takes at the college level. Bottom line, when KH is on and the rest of the team plays at its norm, this is arguably the best team in divI football.
