I still think Hogan's slow windup is a major factor in his confidence and decision-making.  If it takes an extra half-second to get the ball to your receiver, you have to be watching the game an additional half-second ahead of however far you have to anticipate already.  There's no chance he'll successfully change the way he throws now though, so that's that.
