Qb1 (video): Nice quick release, with good wrist action; vs. Qb2 (Hogan, video in your mind): the tendency to heave the ball, partially from the heel of his hand. Qb1 (video): Nice higher trajectory on the ball which helps give added touch and accuracy, and give the receiver more chance to adjust to the ball; vs. Qb2 (Hogan, video in your mind): the less forgiving, flatter line drives, in which the timing is less forgiving and has to be closer to perfect. Example: Hogan's bullet pass way over the head of a wide-open Toilolo in the end zone near the end of the 2012 Rose Bowl, but particularly applicable to longer throws as well. Granted the different level of competition and stage of development, but there is no way to equalize all the variables right now.
