I think it's always hard for alumni to think that kids prefer other schools -- how the heck can that be? 

But when Stanford is putting out such a good, NFL ready football product it makes it even tougher.

In the end, they are kids and kids think like kids.

I've always wanted Stanford just to consistently get good, solid kids for their programs and it looks like we are.
