The evolution the coaches have taken w/r/t Hogan's legs has been interesting. He runs much less frequently, and that reduction has mostly come from worse teams. He rarely scrambles, passing or throwing. We seem to have a pitch count on him. And in general a pitch count is a pretty good idea, but sometimes you want to push your guy and have him go for the complete game. I think this game is one of a few examples this year where Stanford could've profited from getting Hogan 10-15 carries.
