Aaron Bright was a fine player, but he didn't have the athleticism to make up for his short stature. He was quick, but not quick enough to get consistent shots off against guard 4-6 inches taller than he. And he was a fine dribbler, IMO, but he could be pushed around or couldn't wrap passes around outstretched defenders.
His one move I always enjoyed, and that seemed to peak during the NIT run, was the fast break fake pass behind the back, cupping the ball, and then bring the ball back in front and lay it high off the glass. It worked really well the first 1-2 times he did it. But then the defense would figure it out and block the lay up.
