That saddens me very deeply for a couple of reasons. For one thing, the flow of raw, original, side-splitting writing has been severely impaired. Fortunately, he left us with an incredible abundance of material that will never, ever grow old.
For another thing, he was really quite young in today's terms. I, myself, am within shouting distance of his age. Actually, come to think of it, I could probably speak in a normal voice.
I believe I will have to have a binge on his movies here soon.
