Anyway, if the pessimists are right, by the time Muir starts on the panel next year, we'll be so far from tournament contention that Muir will never have to leave the room.  (Personally, I think that next year's team won't be that bad, but with all the turnover, who knows)

After last night's game, didn't you mean to say "...but with all the turnoverS, who knows." ? 

I've almost gotten to the point where I think the best play for us, if we win the opening tip, is for whoever gets the ball to fling it immediately at our basket from wherever he is on the court.  At least that would mean we got a shot off before turning the ball over...something we seem to do WAY too much on our first [and sometimes second...and third...] possessions.
