Perhaps this has already been discussed recently, but I am wondering about the consensus here concerning the more successful tradition (overall): men's basketball or football?
I would perhaps instinctively side with football (14 conference titles; 2 claimed national championships; a Voldemort; successful coaches; etc.), but basketball has a strong tradition also (13 conference championships; 1 outright national championship; 17 tournament appearances; etc.)
Thoughts?
