I'm pretty sure anyone familiar with the Texas program (e.g. oman et al.) will agree that Akina is one of the crown jewels of this Stanford recruiting class...he was also co-DC (with Gene Chizik) for the national championship Longhorn team over U$C on Jan. 1st, 2006.

Dunno how Texas will do, but Stanford is on track to retain the title of DB U.  Maybe Sherman will come back and take a few tips from Akina.
