But you shoulda been here a decade or more ago.  If you had been, you'd think  today looked like rush hour in Tokyo.  We've been blessed with lots of good minds stumbling on us by accident...or sent here by friends or coming here looking for a calmer, more reasoned atmosphere.  Except for the calmer part, we've done well hosting the kind of conversations a lot of people are interested in [as Kathy searches for her dangling preposition hatchet].  This year particularly, the Cardboard has distinguished itself as a free message board that doesn't resemble the fall of Saigon in a mashup with a dozen guys acting out their Wolverine fantasy.  This past football season has been a lot of fun with lots of new voices and some real expertise helping to raise the information-to-opinion ratio.  You've all contributed and this is our recovery period.  It will be quieter but at least it's not like the SEC whose fans compensate by seeming to actually increase their opinion stridency leavened with the standard news of random-teammates-stealing-other-peoples-stuff stories.
