OK, using that mix and match of NCAA and non-NCAA and then layering in team and individual too I would have to think that USC, UCLA, and maybe even Stanford all could have streaks that extend well beyond 42 years. It would not even shock me to learn that Oklahoma State, Texas, Arkansas and LSU could join that party as they were/are major forces in a few team sports that assign a large collection of individual honors too (wrestling, swimming, track & field, etc).
And all of those schools might be able to get to 42 without resorting to using non-NCAA sports to bridge gaps.
