Does anybody know if the USA has anything more than their usual "lucky to make it through the Group stage" team? Over here this season in Old Blightly, our seemingly best striker (Altidore) has been useless, our most reliable old guy (Dempsey) had a very brief and mostly unnoticed number of cameo appearances at Fulham, Friedel has been relegated to splinter duty at Tottenham and Guzan has been letting in a lot of goals at Villa (even though some give him credit for not letting in more playing behind a useless defense) and Cameron has shown only marginal utility at Stoke (? Not 100% sure he was playing there, but have better thing to do than Google it right now). With Klinsman in charge , I'm sure we'll not embarrass ourselves, but is there any chance we will sparkle, as we did briefly in South Korea? Hope so, but not putting any money on it.......
