Five Guys - which I find vastly superior to In-N-Out - is my favorite chain burger.Â
East Coast bias.

Please. Five Guys burger, here, is $6.95; A Double Double is $3.25. In my book a fast food burger doesn't cost 7 bucks. Are there better burgers than In N Out? Sure, but not fast food. Being an East Coaster you are obviously deprived, so we forgive you. Enjoy your fried clam strips.

Guilty as charged. Upon reflection, I've become a New Englander. I've put down roots here. And as an East Coaster, yes I am deprived - of the ability to go to every home game. I would love to move back to the Bay Area, but it's not happening when the houses are 3x the price of the ones here and the schools are not 3x better (with the exception of a certain private university on the Peninsula).
As for the Five Guys burgers. What do you expect? They are twice as good as In-N-Out, and we're not even talking about the fries. I'd rather eat the fries at Burger King than In-N-Out.
As for fried clam strips. Don't knock them unless you've had them in Maine. They're usually rubbery and bitter. But in Maine, they are something else entirely.
