I am naive, but it seems to me all scholarships, for all schools, ought to be for four years, as long as the athlete shows up, puts in effort, follows the rules, etc.  Harder on the coaches?  Yes.  Requires more thoughtful appraisals.  But if mandated for all schools would be, I think, more fair to the kids.

I started a different thread to answer this legitimate question, since it will probably inspire a lot of discussion unrelated to WBB recruiting.
