Here's a write up on Huestis' Summer League performance from an OKC fan: http://thunderousintentions.com/2014/07/...h-huestis/
In Summary:
The fan is predicting the Huestis ends up in the D-League for next season. The poor three-point shooting is a consistent point made by analysts who are not bullish on his prospects. Apparently he improved his 3-point shooting in colleges from 20% to 36%, but you gotta wonder if that's his cap on potential, considering the additional range in the NBA. Clearly, Thunder management see more potential than this guy, so hopefully they're more on the mark on his prospects.
In Summary:
Quote:n 83 minutes and 46 seconds, or roughly 21 minutes per game, HuestisÂ’ per-game averages are as follows: 8 points off of 42.9% shooting (12.5% from 3-point range), 81.3% free throw shooter, 1 assist, 2.3 rebounds (1.3 off., 1 def.), 0.3 steals, 0.5 blocks, 1.8 personal fouls, 1.5 turnovers, and 0.3 blocks against.
