Ferrari, can you consider cutting back on your particular style of political commentary on this sports board? I don't mind that your viewpoints are conservative. I do mind that your political comments are inane.

First, this is a sports board, and while we we all go off on tangents, political tangents are the most tiresome of tangents. Second, your comments aren't intended to provoke discussion--they're just intended to be digs against people who disagree with you. This was illustrated pretty clearly during the discussion of the UCSB Isla Vista shooter when you posted a comment of, "Why don't we ban cars and knives since they were used to kill people?" Everybody ignored that comment because it was inane. So you REPEATED it. And when I finally explained to you that cars/knives are actually different from guns, you immediately said, "I'm out. There's no point in discussing this further."

You even took a dig at one of the moderators saying that a particular "liberal" moderator wouldn't appreciate your comment . Again, it's not the conservative viewpoint that is annoying, it's the inanity of the comments.
