Aside from the QB factor that has been pointed out - the positive beta on Luck and his leadership versus Hogan, I think the big factor in comparing 2010 to this year is the level of the competition.  We shut out UCLA, UW and OSU n 2010.  I don't see that happening this year as each of those teams is significantly better.  The Pac12 is arguably the best Conference.  Our schedule is much tougher and we are missing two of the bottom teams in the Pac12.  I too, am betting big, but I think the schedule will make it hard for us to get through the Pac12 without 1-2 losses.
