Finally got around to watching the movie.  The coolest fictional Stanford person of all time.  There's actually a funny Stanford VM quote as related to the football team, but it's not an elegant quip for a more civilized board.

I said 9-3, but now have buyer's remorse and wish I had gone for 10-2.

I recall garvin being the lone optimist ahead of the 2012 season.  Come on, put in 12-0 for good luck.
