Read a nice review of Smith who was at Texas this past weekend.  6-3 a 4.  Called very good and athletic.  I favor good basketball players over athletic, but nice if both.

Visiting the University of Texas this weekend are two four-star prospects that both have the ability to make an immediate impact at the Big 12 school. Alana Smith of Australia and Christina Aborowa of Philadelphia, Pa., are both in Austin this weekend.

At 6 feet 3 inches, Smith is a forward who brings a high level of skill and a nice foundation of athleticism to the power forward spot. She has international experience playing with the U17 Australian national team and has spent the last two years playing in a pro league as an unpaid player in Australia.

Good to hear the positive reviews!  That is an interesting profile--someone who has played in a pro league as an unpaid player.  Have we ever had anyone like that?  Does it count against eligibility?
