Here's your options:
1) Bring in unopened/sealed water bottles. Any quantity, no problem. Medium sized backpacks are still fine, unlike pro stadiums.
2) Bring in your empty camelback and look for the water spigots at waist height placed around the outside of the stadium near the gates. They have little signs saying something like "Placed for your convenience by SF water co. to provide fresh Sierra Spring water". It actually tastes quite good.
I don't know your age but the guards are a little lax inspecting anyone over 40. I've brought in a thermos of hot chocolate without issue on a rainy day. (Either unseen or unremarked during the backpack check). I wouldn't chance getting a nice Camelback through. It could be a long walk to your car!
