I was sitting in the stands above the south end zone.  No, there was not a stiff wind.  The wind was indeed at Heidari's back, but it was barely noticeable.

It came and went. I'm pretty close to field level in the end zone and there was some gusting right before they called that time out and sent out the FG unit. My brother and I were trying to figure out if they were just trying to get us to jump, or if they changed their minds about going for it because of the wind.

I wouldn't call it stiff either way, but given the way it seemed to pick up just then I could see that influencing the decision.
